Might & Main is seeking a motivated, driven candidate to take on the many-faceted role of Producer. We're a small group by design, and so we value people who are multi-talented. We are looking for someone who can see the big picture while paying close attention to details, who is a natural leader and also a good collaborator, who is reliable but adaptable, consistent but flexible. The ideal candidate is a facile communicator and a quick study, seeks out opportunities to make meaningful change, and sees a challenge as a means of growth.
This is a full time position.
The final job description will be tailored to the ideal candidate, but areas of specialty include:
Master of First Impressions
You might be the first person they talk to on the phone or see when they come to the office. Field incoming business inquiries; ask and answer basic questions about capabilities, process, scope, timing and budgets. Participate in informational meetings with prospective clients in order to gather information about scope and budget.
Intake and Order
Once clients decide to sign on, help with contracts and other documents, billing process, client team contacts, and acquisition and organization of creative assets.
Generate project estimates and contracts, communicate with client about roles, scope, process, deliverables and milestones. Schedule internal and agency/client meetings at project milestones. Participate in strategic meetings and help to conduct research. Help to define project scope, goals and requirements, and work with client and creative team to ensure that they are met. Route layouts, copy, proofs and other project elements for approval and production.
Issue invoices and record payments, maintain client account balances, maintain client records (including signed contracts, exemption certificates, billing and payment history).
Create financial and workload projections and participate in strategic planning. Influence and inform creative and technical workflow, processes and tools. (deleted Cashboard and Basecamp here) Create project plans and manage individual projects' resources, scope, schedules and budgets. Maintain agency records like time tracking, PTO, etc... Keep a busy office in ink & paper.
3-5 years of related work experience
Proven ability to:
• identify and solve a variety of technical, creative and logistical problems
• build and maintain rapport, influence others, and communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
• initiate, execute and follow through on projects and initiatives
Skilled in Mac OS, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office software
Familiarity with creative workflows and/or experience managing a creative team
