Theme Songs

On a recent company trip to a Portland Sea Dogs game, one thing won us over—the player introductions. As every Seadog came to bat, a specific song came on to hype that player up. Immediately we started talking about how great it would be to implement that at the office—a song for each of us, every time we stepped up to the plate at Might & Main. And so, after much deliberation and some significant trial and error, we've landed on our ideal Might & Main theme songs.

Lunch or Fire Hazard?

One of the best things about our old offices was the full range gas stove. Though we didn't use it often, it was always nice to know we could make homemade stir fry, bake a cake, or sauté some veggies if the mood hit. When we moved into our loft on Fore St., however, we exchanged that oven for scenic views, a outdoor deck, collaborative workspaces, and host of other upgrades—but we've always missed the ability to truly cook at work. That is, until we added this little guy to the mix.

Summer Tastes

When the temperatures start rising, and the phones go quiet a little earlier on Friday afternoons, we've been known to enjoy a refreshing beverage or two out on the deck here at the office. One of our favorites is the classic Negroni, harkening back to early 1900's Italy. It's dead simple to prepare, being one part gin, one part Campari, and one part sweet vermouth. We like to add a few dashes of Regan's Orange Bitters, and serve it over some big chunks of ice.
